Oh. My. Word.
That is what I have to say about November this year and we’re only the 10th.
Things took off with a bang here in the Quinn house.
You ever have those moments when one of your children say something weird like, “Mama, my neck hurts,” and you think… “What?… wait… Oh nooooo!!?” Well, that was me recently. Sadly I had just made Elderberry Syrup the day before… apparently a little too late.
Right after the first complaint soon there was another one from another child and not too long after that I had one throwing up. O.O With the speed of light I immediately whipped up some garlic rub and began lathering all the littles.
Just in time too because fevers began to rise. I also hurriedly got out my Thieves and began applying that to their feet to boost their immune system. I also had to use some DiGize a couple times on some really upset tummies and Peppermint to help lower one little ones fever.
That nasty bug got 4 of my 6 kiddos sick, the last one being Joshua.
Ugh… His first sickness. He was soooo pitiful.
He felt awful. Fever, projectile vomiting and diarrhea. No fun at all. Thank God for garlic rub, Thieves, and Pedialyte. Needless to say we didn’t get much sleep last week.
Good news though… 4 of us didn’t get sick! Somehow our little 2 year old avoided it. I honestly have no clue how she did though. Thankfully, so did my husband, myself and our eldest who all happened to be on Plexus which is said to help support your immune system. Boy was I grateful for those supplements!!
This pregnant mama was not wanting that sickness… at all.
And come to find out, poor little Joshua wasn’t only sick, he was also cutting his first tooth!!
This was our little man yesterday. It’s so nice to see him happy again!
And he’s got another tooth about to cut through! Our little man is growing up. Sweet baby.
Mental note… one day all my kids get Plexus.
